The Wednesday fixture programmes at Milnsbridge and Lindley Lib have fallen victim to the cold weather with the frozen greens losing the thawing race to miss out on any action this Wednesday. However we do have action at Springwood as mapped out in this action preview.

A return to action with the Division 3 fixture programme at Springwood going ahead from 11.00am this morning as usual. Slaithwaite head the table and have a meeting against Thorpe Green C to overcome this week. Almondbury BC B are their nearest rivals and sit just two points behind them with a match against third-from-bottom Springwood A this week.

Third-placed Denby Dale could be the big benefactors should either of the top two slip up as they have the easiest looking game when taking on bottom-of-the-table Lindley BC B who look to be heading for a second consecutive relegation. The Denby Dale side could be even closer if they hadn't the handicap of a 10-point penalty for declining promotion last season but it looks like they might be in the same situation again this year.

Lockwood Con A look to be on the same slippery relegation slide and really need to take some points off Lindley Lib B if they are to retain any hopes of avoiding the drop this year.
