Preview of Division 2 fixtures for Wednesday 27 October

Another new team open their first-ever Winter League season as Almondbury BC take to the Springwood green for their Division 2 fixture against the Week 1 table-toppers from Meltham. The Wednesday programme also includes the clash of two winning outfits from last week meeting as the new teams from Jackson Bridge and Lindley Lib test their potential a little more. At least one of the teams on the wrong end of 0-8 scorelines last week will collect their first points this season as Denby Dale and Thorpe Green 'B' go head-to-head this Wednesday.

The final match in the week 2 programme sees the Springwood hosts welcoming Huddersfield Recreation Club 'A' who are also looking to clock up their first points of the season. It all starts at 12noon as we hopefully slot into a weekly routine of matches every Wednesday (except Christmas week) right through until next February. Bring it on!
