Winter League
There are six matches to be played this Wednesday in Division 1 as the two outstanding postponed matches from last Wednesday are fitted into the programme. That means two in a day for four teams as Lindley BC 'A' v Clayton West play on Wednesday as these two teams have a 10:00am start for their delayed match before going on to play their Wednesday matches from 12noon. The New Millers v Kirkheaton Con match has also now been moved to Wednesday 10:00am as well. That sees the teams vying for the runners-up position going head-to-head with New Millers who won the opening day fixture between the two teams.
There are then four league matches as normal starting at 12noon and the league table will probably look very different to the one below after the two morning fixtures. After moving out of the relegation places on Monday after beating Rastrick, Lowerhouses could find themselves back in the drop zone by close of play Wednesday. They have to take on runaway leaders Lower Hopton whilst their nearest opponents are Milnsbridge 'A' who are 6 points behind them and they meet Rastrick 'A'.
The group of 5 teams behind Lower Hopton are separated by just 4 points and with a number of clashes between those 5 teams scheduled for the day things could get very messy and the table could have a completely different running order by the close of play.
