Preview of the fixtures in Divisions 1, 3 & 5 scheduled for Wednesday 5 November

Thorpe Green A have produced a positive start to the defence of the Division 1 title and will expect to continue that with a win over Kirkheaton Con A this Wednesday. With two regulars missing things are not looking straightforward for the Yetton boys. Cowcliffe took the runners-up slot last season and find themselves in the same position again this year after week 1. But they will be pushed all the way this week by Lower Hopton who find themselves in the bottom half of the table, a rare position for them.

Hanging Heaton A and Golcar Lib both came up from a very competitive Division 2 at the end of last season and they meet up again this week with the Golcar team at the foot of the table after the first week. Hanging Heaton A showed their potential with an opening day 6-2 win over twice Champions, Lower Hopton, and will be keen to build on that and will be disappointed if they don't repeat their last day of the last season 6-2 win over their Wednesday opponents.

New Mill A have finished third in the table for the last two seasons but an opening day 2-6 defeat against Cowcliffe was a setback that needs to be reversed if they are to have hopes of improving on last season's position. A good winning start to the season for the strengthened Lindley BC A side last week and they capable of extending that run when meeting New Mill A this Wednesday.
