Another green ready for the new season is Cowcliffe Liberal as exposed in these two photographs. So much work goes into preparing greens for the start of a new season and the greenkeepers all deserve the thanks of all the bowlers that are about the enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Cowcliffe Liberal is no exception and I am grateful to Debra Farrar for forwarding me these photographs. That takes the total number of greens showcased on our website to eight with Lindley BC starting us off then came Shepley, Thorpe Green, Milnsbridge BC, Netherton Con, Skelmanthorpe Windmill, Kirkheaton Con and now Cowcliffe. Any more? We have another week before the season really kicks off so still time to include some more good news stories and pictures. Send them to us now
