The Thorpe Green Winter League Cup

Assuming that the government timetable for easing COVID restrictions is not changed the first club competition of the year will be on Sunday April 11th at 1:30pm. It will be open to all ages and genders to enter but only club members may enter. It is called the Winter League Cup.

There will be six teams with four players per team. The format will be basically the same as the Winter League one although there will be a yellow mat rather than a pink one for the fourth mat. Based on the experience of the Winter League it is anticipated that the competition will last somewhere between2½ to 3 hours. There will be a draw to determine the teams and playing order in each team. There will be an entry fee of £1 per person.

The winning team will be the one with the best score overall from the three matches. The winning team will not receive a cup despite the name of the competition but will each get a bottle of wine (Aldi’s finest!). We would invite spectators to come and watch but sadly no spectators are allowed at the moment.

The form below is for your use to inform us of anything happening in your club that you would like to share with all the website visitors. We look forward to hearing from you.
