Club News: Holmfirth BC
We're back up and running for the 2022 season, but once again the Holmfirth BC crew has been very busy over the close season with three major projects completed.
First up, our grounds team have done a fabulous job installing a water irrigation system so our green now has automatic watering - rather than as we used to do it, by hand!
We received grant support from the Sir George Martin Trust, Huddersfield Common Good Trust, Arnold Clark Community Fund and One Community Foundation which together with club funds covered the costs.
A great volunteer team effort by the fundraisers on the committee and to the grounds team. With grateful thanks to everyone who made it happen.
More on the other two projects later complete with photographs but first here are a number of photographs about the new irrigation system.
