A preview of the Division 1 fixtures to be played at Milnsbridge on Wednesday 17 November
The latest outfit to challenge the Division 1 leaders are Clayton West who currently reside in 3rd place in the table. However, they are still 10 points behind Lower Hopton having played a match more so a lot of ground to catch up. A few other contenders will be hoping that they can chip away at that lead to open up the competition a little more. Kirkheaton Con hung on to second place despite having a bye last week and this Wednesday take on Lowerhouses 'A' who had the confidence booster of an 8-0 whitewash win over Milnsbridge 'A' last week.

Only 2 points separate New Millers from Lindley BC 'A' in 4th and 5th places. New Millers only defeat in five matches has been to Lower Hopton and they will be looking to build on that record against a Lindley BC 'A' team that clocked its first 8-0 win of the season last Wednesday. The 'A' teams from Thorpe Green and Milnsbridge go head-to-head currently holding down 7th and 8th positions respectively with 4 points between them. Whichever team loses will probably be left holding the second relegation place once all the results are in so introducing an added edge to the tie.
All four matches run concurrently at Milnsbridge on Wednesday from 12noon with four jacks in operation throughout and spectators are all very welcome. Lots to look forward to and not just the hot samosas and chicken wings but some good competitive bowling as well.
