Chloe wins Thornhill Ladies KO

The first open club knock-out competition of the season was played at Thornhill on Sunday with a ladies-only competition. County colleagues, Chloe Hirst and Emma Tobin contested the final from 32 top-rated starters but it was Lockwood Con bowler Chloe Hirst who came out on top being an 8/1 chance at the start of play. A good sunny Sunday with a well-prepared green made for a great opening day of club competitions.
