Broad Oak, Grange Moor & Meltham reopen updates

Greens Reopening

Today is Restart Day - the day that bowling was resumed with a pathway leading to the summer season starting soon for many local leagues. We have an update on three clubs intentions as well as our full listing of 21 local greens.

Broad Oak has explained on its Facebook page all the rules around the reopening of their green from next Friday (2 April) whilst Grange Moor and Meltham have both announced the reopening of their greens this week.

Grange Moor will reopen their green to members only from Easter Monday 5 April.

Meltham BC has plans to reopen both their greens this week with No.1 green being the first on the afternoon of Monday 29 March and No.2 green will reopen the following day.

Broad Oak will reopen their green on Friday (2 April) with a booking system in place with two options on how club members can book timeslots. This extract from their Facebook page covers how it will work.

Bookings can be made from 10am onward on Monday 29th March in one of two ways.

E-mail and leave your mobile telephone number, names of ALL people who you wish to join your booked session along with a preferred date and preferred time. We will reply to your email as quickly as possible.

Call the dedicated booking number on 07306 377369 between 10am and 8pm Monday to Saturday to book.

Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail or a text to confirm the date and time. PLEASE DO NOT AT ANY TIME JUST TURN UP AT THE CLUB TO BOWL AS THIS CONTRAVENES THE ADVICE GIVEN.

You can book for one session at a time and when your session is completed, you may then book for a further session.
