Two sets of woods previously advertised on this website failed to sell just before Christmas so they are back on the market. If Santa didn't bring you that new set of woods you were expecting then maybe it is time to treat yourself.

2. New Heavyweight Woods £45
The Winter League has been given a pair of heavyweight woods (2lb 12) Standard Density to sell off with the proceeds to go towards League funds. Our anonymous donor has generously donated these brand new unused woods to help the League establish itself financially in its early days.
The woods are still in the original box and are from the Taylor Crown Green Elite series which are currently being advertised online at £120 as below.
Taylor Elite Crown Bowls The Elite provides all the playing performance of the Deluxe or Grippa, but at a lower price. It has coloured rings instead of mounts and minimum decoration, with plain grip. Although a plainer bowl, it is made, and plays, to Taylor’s usual exacting standards.
Available in sizes 2/0 to 2/12, and in densities Standard and High. Black only.

They are heavy but will suit anyone who feels they need a big wood for a pairs match where sometimes you need to force your way through more often or they may suit someone who feels that a heavier wood would suit their bowling style better or maybe your current heavy woods have seen better days.
