Preview of the Division 3 matches to be played on Monday 1 November
Focus in the Division 3 programme this week is at the foot of the table as the bottom two teams go head-to-head. Dalton take on Springwood 'B' who are the only team in the division without a win so far. Maybe it will come this week.
The leaders Rastrick put their unbeaten record in front of mid-table Brockholes this Monday safe in the knowledge whatever the other results maybe this week they will still be at the top of the table come Monday evening. The only team that could pass them is Thorpe Green 'C' and they have a bye this week.
The only other unbeaten team in the division is Lindley BC 'B' who go up against Milnsbridge 'B' who could swap places with them if the scoring goes their way. Huddersfield Recreation Club will be keen to bounce back from their 0-8 mauling by leaders Rastrick 'B' last week and they face a Lowerhouses 'B' side who had a highly creditable 4-4 draw with Thorpe Green 'C' last week when only denied the majority of the points by an inferior aggregate score.
The weather forecast indicates that it is likely to rain for the Monday matches but not too heavy as to cause any threat of a postponement. The action starts at 12noon on the Thorpe Green green and spectators are very welcome.
