Big wins for Division 1 top two

The top two teams in Division 1 both clocked up 8-0 wins to ensure that no threat emerged from the chasing pack this week. Cowcliffe A and Lindley BC A respectively were on the wrong end of those scorelines. New Mill A continued their climb away from the relegation zone with a 6-2 win over Golcar Lib who continue to sit at the foot of the table without a win all season. If they don't win their match next week against Cowcliffe A then is is likely their relegation will be confirmed. That may be followed a week later by Kirkheaton Con A who lost 2-6 to Hanging Heaton A on Tuesday and still have the top three teams to play.
