Winter League
Four photographs taken by Robert Tracey of some of the work that goes on behind the scenes at Springwood every Wednesday matchday which all contributes to a great day out in the middle of winter. First one is of the Winter League Chairman, Mike Ralph, marking up all the match scores on the 'manual vidiprinter' or whiteboard which keeps everyone up to date with how the day's matches are going.
Then into the clubhouse where Josie, Helen, Evelyn and others provide a range of sandwiches, cakes and other delicacies as well as a number of hot drinks including the popular home-made soup for the grateful bowlers. All part of the service which does not go unnoticed by the recipients. Thank you all.
