The annual BCGBA competition for the Veterans Championship is a one-day competition with 32 qualifiers from county competitions. Ian Briggs of Longwood and the Thorpe Green Winter League bowler was the sole Yorkshire representative at last Tuesday's competition climax held at the Prees Bowling Club in Shropshire.
