Denby Dale started the season with a -10 points penalty for declining promotion at the end of last season.

Slaithwaite forced themselves back into the Division 3 promotion places replacing Thorpe Green after beating them 6-2 on Wednesday. That still leaves them four points behind the leaders Almondbury BC B who made it four straight wins to start the season with Springwood A being on the wrong end of the 6-2 scoreline.

Lindley Lib B move up a place to third by thrashing Lockwood Con A 8-0 whilst Denby Dale also collect a whitewash 8-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Lindley BC B to continue their climb up the table. If they hadn't started the season with a 10-points penalty they would now be sat at the top of the table on a better Aggregate For total.
