Everything is changing in Division 10. All the teams have moved host green from Lindley Lib to Netherton Con. Three teams have withdrawn and three new teams are taking their places. The three new teams inherit the 2025 playing records of a team that has withdrawn.

The Division 10 teams have relocated to Netherton Con where they will play all their remaining fixtures for the 2025-26 season. There are three new teams joining Division 10 to replace the three teams that cannot extend their commitment to cover the rest of the season. We are grateful to three new teams that have come forward to replace them. The three new teams and the teams they are replacing and the League records that they are inheriting are;

Hemplow B withdraw and replaced by Brockholes E

Lindley Lib D withdrawn and replaced by Skel Windmill B.

Lindley Lib E withdrawn and replaced by Holmfirth B.

Lindley Lib had always maintained that the offer to house a 7-week mini-season for 8 teams in Division 10 and they would not be able to accommodate any postponements was fully understood by all the teams from the outset. Later Netherton Con offered to take over the hosting responsibilities, which they have done, as well as taking on the fixtures postponed at Lindley Lib last Monday. Those rearranged fixtures were played out yesterday and the results are above with a full report on them below.

That set of fixtures included the top two teams, Rastrick and Thongsbridge, facing each other and it was the Thongsbridge team that came out on top in a 6-2 victory to go back to the top of the table. That outcome produced a one-point lead for the new leaders as they passed the halfway point in the season.

Third-placed Skel Windmill were surprisingly held by bottom of the table Outlane B 4-4 which means that there have been four 4-4 draws in Division 10 this season and all involved Skel Windmill. The two Lindley Lib teams signed out with 6-2 wins with the E team beating the new Brockholes E team and the Lindley Lib D side beating Brockholes D by the same scoreline. The Division 10 teams will reassemble on 5 January to start the second half of their season and that will also see the Skel Windmill B and Holmfirth B teams joining the action.

All the remaining fixtures will be added to the Division 10 programme on Bowlsnet later this week along with all the team name changes and registered bowlers for each of the three new teams. Bowlsnet does not allow the deletion of bowlers records of those who have already bowled in the season. Therefore, those bowler records will be frozen on Bowlsnet and new bowlers added to the system from the new teams.

The three teams that withdrew from the Division 10 season at the halfway point are all to be offered the first places on the new teams waiting list for the 2026-27 season.
