Winter League

The full list of entries for the 2025 Winter Cup approaches the century mark as the start dates near. The closing date for entries for three of the Division Qualifying Rounds are next week so if you want to enter don't be caught out missing your Division's deadline. The three closing dates for next week are shown in red in the table below.

Handicaps

The only handicapping in the qualifying rounds is that Inter-District and County bowlers play off -1 otherwise everyone else starts on scratch.

Handicapping from the Round of the Last 16 and onwards are as follows:

Scratch - Inter-District and County bowlers +1 - Division 1 and Division 2 bowlers

+2 - Division 3 and Division 4 bowlers

+3 - Division 5 and Division 6 bowlers

+4 - Division 7 and Division 8 bowlers

Home bowlers will be additionally penalised for the Round of the Last 16 onwards by 3-2-1

Stuff you need to know

All matches are 21-Up. Toss up for the jack. Entry fee of £3 per bowler.

Bowlers must have played a minimum of 4 League matches before the Qualifying Round to be eligible to enter the competition

The draw for the qualifying rounds will be done on the day of the competition to minimise any disruption caused by no-shows.

HOW TO ENTER

Paper entry forms will be available on your Division's normal matchday during January and February. Cash entry fees are accepted along with your paper entries.

Before completing your entry form please check that you are available to play on the dates of all rounds of the 2025 competition.

Your entry will only go into the draw upon payment of the entry fee of £3 per bowler.
