A review of the Division 1 matches played on Wednesday 17 November
Lower Hopton continue to lead the way in Division 1 with their latest success being a 6-2 win over Clayton West this week. Clayton West were looking to claw their way back into contention after a slow start to the season but they came up against resolute opponents this week who gave them little encouragement although they did eventually concede two points but this still left the West in fourth place some 14 points behind the leaders.

New Millers and Lindley BC 'A' had a fascinating encounter ending in a 58-58 aggregate tie but with two game wins the New Millers ran out 5-3 winners. Each team only dropping 5 points shows the standards being set in our top division. Kirkheaton Con beat Lowerhouses 'A' 6-2 to keep hold of second spot and Rastrick are still looking for their first win of the season after going down 0-8 to Thorpe Green 'A' who moved up a place to 6th as a result.
