The number of entries to the 2023 Arthur Land Super Cup is fast homing in on the 45 it reached last year and is just one short of equaling last year's total.

The latest listing of entered teams only shows the first 41 teams which has since been surpassed. To date only three Yorkshire teams have entered and it is hoped that will increase further before the end of March deadline. The attraction being that it is Yorkshire's turn to host the final at a green still to be named.

There was an epic encounter in the final of the competition last year when Lloyds Hotel from Chorlton-cum-Hardy (Manchester) took the title when defeating Garswood Hall 220-219 played at the Sinclair Sports & Social Club in Telford.

Thongsbridge were the last Yorkshire team to win the title and that was the last one before the pandemic back in 2019.
