Yesterday we launched three polls for you to cast your votes on three issues facing local bowling leagues this year. They were:
Would you miss the League Handbook in its paperback form?
Do you think that the local leagues you play in should become mixed-gender?
Do you think the Huddersfield Saturday League should change to a Home and Away format?
Voting closes at 9pm on Friday but at the halfway point we have 32 votes cast and they show the following.

Interesting results so far particularly the preference for mixed bowling. It shows how times have changed.
I can understand the preference for home and away fixtures but perhaps if it was agreed it would eventually lower the standard of bowling with the need to “learn the green” only necessary on alternate weeks . Just a thought.
