Yorkshire Veterans Merit 2026

Veterans League

2026 is the inaugural season for the Veterans Merit being run by the Yorkshire Inter-District League. Each district will play qualifying rounds on their bye day. There are 9 districts in the league therefore, each day of the fixtures, one district has a bye. On that date they will run a qualifying round to determine the 2 players from that district to qualify for the Finals Day on 11 September 2026 which will be hosted at a green in the Castleford District. The qualifiers must play at least 3 games during the season for their district. The prize fund for the final 16 will be in excess of £1,100 thanks to generous sponsorship from Graham Hirst and Castleford district.
