Yorkshire opened their 2024 BCGBA Senior Mens County Championship by beating the 2023 winners Staffordshire by 454-381 to take charge of the Section 3 table. Yorkshire won both the home and away legs for a convincing overall win with 8 games to 4 victories at both venues. In the other Section 3 tie North Midlands beat Merseyside by 430-394.
The next round of fixtures in the Round Robin format will be played on Sunday 2 June when the Yorkshire team take on the North Midlands with both venues still to be named.
The Home leg was played at Spen Victoria and Yorkshire won 228-176
The Away leg was played at Stafford BC and Yorkshire won by 226-205
