I am very grateful to Dave Parkin once again for the colourful table showing the draw and more as well as for the narrative below providing an insight to the chances and records of some of the finalists. Scroll down past the draw for the full write-up.

Any of the 32 can win.
Win 2 games to represent Yorkshire at Dodworth in the All Britain will be a goal for many.
The contenders:
Gareth Coates – Back to defend his 2024 title & current Spring Waterloo winner.
Jack Dyson – 2022 winner & 4-time Huddersfield Merit winner.
Craig Gant – 2018 winner & current Yorkshire Home team captain.
Josh Brown – 2017 Semi Finalist & 2018 Huddersfield Merit winner.
James Hanson – 2011 & 2017 winner.
Jon Wood – Undefeated for County from debut (18 matches).
Kez Smith – 2016 IOM June Festival winner.
Ash Tattersley – County player with plenty of finals day experience & won at Guiseley in Bradford League this Saturday.
Stuart King – Linthwaite Hall champion that qualified him for Champion of Champions & multi-Bradford merit winner, unbeaten in Mirfield league 2025.
(Sir) Bob Hitchen – 3-time winner (84, 85 & 94), can he roll back the years? Winning 2 matches & a shot at the All Britain is his target.
Dark Horses
Dave Cowsill – 5-time Wakefield Merit winner so knows how to win.
Ian Newby – Reigning Wakefield Merit winner.
Nathan Dobson – Will know the green & recently qualified for Cowcliffe final.
Louis Barker – Playing well this season for Cowcliffe in Huddersfield league.
Charlie Fisher – Junior who qualified via Wakefield beating some quality players
In addition there will be plenty of green knowledge from Skipton, Harrogate & Aire Wharfe qualifiers.
