The Yorkshire Ladies team may have been eliminated from the BCGBA Senior Championship but they still have a great interest in the supplementary competition of the Mavis Deadon Cup. This is for the four teams that finished as runners-up in the Round Robin group stage of the Senior competition. They all go straight into the Semi-Finals where the Yorkshire team play North Midlands on Sunday 18 August.
The teams and venues have been named and there is a 2.00pm start time. The Yorkshire home leg will be played at Longwood BC whilst the away team of 12 travel to Coventry. The combined aggregate score from both legs determine the team to progress through to the final which will be played on Sunday 15 September. The two teams contesting the other semi-final are Cumbria and North Derbyshire.
