Yorkshire Ladies beat their counterparts from Wales to progress through to the semi-finals of the BCGBA Ladies Senior County Championship yesterday. A 193-174 aggregate home win at New Mill was more than matched by the away team for a grand 403-359 winning aggregate total. the full team scores and final tables are below.
That saw the Yorkshire team finish top of the Section 1 table and they will now meet Warwick & Worcester in the semi-finals after a dramatic final day in the Section 2 table. Warwick & Worcester played North Midlands which resulted in a 406-406 draw with both teams taking one point from the match. That gave the teams a total points score 5-5. So it came down to the Aggregate Total score of the three matches which saw Warwick & Worcester edge it by 205-143. The semi-finals will be held on Sunday 17 August.
