The Yorkshire Ladies thrashed Cumbria Ladies in the opening round of fixtures in Section 1 of the BCGBA Ladies County Championship on Sunday. Winning the Home leg at Thornhill C&BC when winning 11 of the 12 home games for a 243-114 contribution to the total. That was added to by winning the away leg 236-199. All the game scores are below.

In the other Section 1 game, North Lancs & Fylde just edged it passed the Wales team by 13 points. Next up for the Yorkshire sideare the winners of that fixture to be played on Sunday 15 June.
