Yorkshire Ladies progress to BCGBA semi-finals

The Yorkshire Ladies Senior County Championship team completed their passage into the semi-finals of the 2023 competition by beating the Greater Manchester team by 25 aggregate points. The away side met a defiant home team and went down by 48 points (186-234) but a magnificent performance by the home team, when only dropping one point in the 12 games, ensured a smooth passage into the knock-out stage of the competition. The team remain on course for a second successive title win but first they have to meet Section 3 winners Shropshire in the semi-finals on Sunday 20 August.
