The Yorkshire Senior Men's team completed the BCGBA qualifying competition with a big 482-356 win over Cumbria to progress to the Knock-Out stage, where they will face the Section 2 winners, North Midlands. Yorkshire completed a hat-trick of wins to go clear at the top of the Section 1 table with a massive 129 points advantage over 2nd placed Cheshire.

It was a much closer affair in Section 2, where three teams were on the same 4-point total score, with the North Midlands team edging it with a better Aggregate For total than either of their opponents to progress through to the semi-finals.
