Winter League
Two items for all team captains to complete before their team's season starts. 1. Update the Team Contacts page on Bowlsnet
2. Check your list of registered bowlers
Captains of all 80 teams are asked to add the main contact person to be contacted on matchdays if matches are called off because of weather or green problems. It seems that the Bowlsnet mid-summer season system disaster has wiped out all these records and they were not included in the backup. This is important so that your team members don't end up travelling to matches which are not going to be played.
You will need your Bowlsnet username and password to gain access. Then click on INFO from the top border menu. Then click on TEAM CONTACTS. Scroll down to find your team and click on your team name. Add a contact name and contact number for emergency matchday contact. I know that some of you will have forgotten your username and password to get access to your Bowlsnet records. Contact me if you need reminding of these.
New teams to the League will be receiving their log in details later today.
In preparation for next week's season starting dates, team captains are also asked to check their list of registered bowlers on Bowlsnet. Just go to www.bowlsnet.uk/HuddWinter and click on PLAYERS from the top border menu. Then click on your team for a full listing.
Please let me know of any corrections or deletions or additions. Where there are fields missing - forename, BCGBA number or Date of Birth - it would be appreciated if you can let me know what should be there. This is something that clubs cannot change themselves.
The League has its own WhatApp Group so if any captain or team bowler wants to join this group then let me know your phone and/or email address and I will send you an invitation to join in. This is also used to inform all bowlers and spectators of any matches that are called off on matchday. Contact Me
