Why the Fantasy League race is so close

Well Bowled Fantasy League

Simon Neve stretches his lead at the top of the Fantasy League table to 14 points from the 12 points it was last week. Simon has still played one match more than 2nd placed Chris Windle.

Looking at the six selections for each it is no surprise that they are so close as there is just one team difference between them. They have the same 5 selections from Divisions 2 to 6 with the one difference being the Division 1 choices.

Simon has Thorpe Green as his Division 1 choice whilst Chris has opted for Lower Hopton and the 14 points difference between the teams in the Division 1 table equates to the difference between the two leaders. The destiny of the Division 1 title race will also determine the outcome of the Fantasy League top prize. Or will it? What about the chasing pack? Some of them may still fancy their chances but my money is on the top two continuing to stay ahead of the pack and claim the 1-2 positions on the final day of the season.

How the Fantasy League works

Each entrant has selected one team in each of the six Divisions of the Winter League. Every point that their six selected teams win gets added to their Fantasy League totals,

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, Well Bowled of Luddendenfoot the top three in the end-of-season table will all win Well Bowled sales voucher prizes this year.
