Crosland Moor bowler Wayne Moseley takes the first 2025 local handicap competition honours in lifting the Huddersfield Spring Handicap at Brockholes on Sunday. He beat Kirkheaton Con rookie bowler Jacob Jackson in the Final 21-10.
Well done to Wayne who collected the £160 winner's prize along with the trophy but a special mention of Jacob Jackson who was playing in his first open competition and has only been bowling for 12 months and he takes the £80 runners-up prize money.
There were 30 entries well down on the 51 who contested the competition last year. Here are the results from the quarter-finals through to the final as best as I could interpret them from the original document below.
