Veterans League
There was a strong line-up for the Quarter-Finals of the 2024 Veterans Pairs KO at Almondbury Lib on Thursday. Half of the final eight pairs were playing off scratch with three of those pairings progressing to the semi-finals. But it was one of the less fancied pairings that ran out the winners on the day. Waterloo duo Ian Lunn and Alan Stephenson with a +2 handicap lifted the trophy after beating Les Holmes and Graham Hirst (Lowerhouses) 21-17 in the final.
