Two tense Bistro semi-finals

The Bistro KO Semi-Finals were the final endings for New Mill B and Almondbury Lib after yesterday's penultimate stage of this year's competition. New Mill B have struggled all season near the foot of the Division 5 table but have batted above their station right through the Bistro competition and only finished 10 chalks behind Division 1 opponents Lindley Lib A. Credit to Lindley Lib A who had a 36 points handicap difference to overcome and they just did it.

In the other semi-final it was a really close affair as the two leaders of Divisions 2 and 3 collected the same Aggregate score of 111. That saw the tie go down to the team with the most wins which was Elland WMC having won 3 of the 5 pairs games. So a really close call all around and Lindley Lib A and Elland WMC will contest the final at Brockholes on Thursday 28 August.
