Two teams breakaway at top of Division 4

Winter League

A review of the Division 4 matches played on Monday 13 November

New Mill B hang on to top spot in the Division 4 table after a hard-fought 4-4 draw with Lindley Lib C on Monday. Only two chalks (57-55) separated the teams in the aggregate scores but that advantage to the New Mill team was key in saving their unbeaten record. They are level top on points with Thorpe Green C who clocked up an 8-0 win over Kirkheaton C&BC to record their third 8-0 scoreline of the season.

Those results send New Mill B and Thorpe Green C 10 points clear of the chasing pack which includes Milnsbridge C who have a match in hand over the two leaders. Then in 5th place come Lindley Lib C who have already proven that they are a match for any team in the division. Very much in the promotion frame as well is Netherton Con A who hung on to third place after a 6-2 win over Springwood B.
