Review of the Julie Fuller Trophy Last 16 matches played on Monday 2 June
You can't see these results on Bowlsnet yet but here they are as originally submitted.

There were two surprise results from the Round of the Last 16 in the 2025 Julie Fuller Trophy played on Monday. So well done to Lindley Lib A and Greenhead Park B who pulled off good wins against higher placed opponents.
Division 2 team Lindley Lib A knocked out Division 1 top three side and the 2024 beaten finalists Waterloo by 55-42 where the 14 points handicap difference was key. I am unclear as to how revising the team handicaps after the matches has been played works but I am sure there is some logic to it somewhere. The tampering with the Waterloo handicap from scratch to -10 obviously makes a big difference but even without that switch the Lindley side would have still won through.
Division 4 strugglers Greenhead Park B built on the previous round elimination of their higher placed clubmates to see off Division 2 team Longwood by 71-60 and now have another giantkilling feat to perform in the next round against Division 1 side Shepley A..
There were belated handicap adjustments to both teams in the Netherton Con A versus Marsh United A tie with the Marsh side suffering the most severe amendment from scratch to -6 but they still won through with a 57-45 scoreline.
The all-Thongsbridge tie had the closest scoreline of the day as the A team edged it 62-60 over their B team colleagues and they will now face fellow Division 1 opposition from Golcar C&BC in the quarter-finals after they handled the threat from the Division 2 unbeaten leaders Almondbury Lib despite the handicap adjustment of -3 for the winners.
The Division 1 leaders, Clayton West A continued their smooth passage with an emphatic 66-35 win over Primrose Hill Lib and now have to face Lindley Lib A in the quarter-finals. Comfortable wins for Broad Oak A and Shepley A over Marsh Lib B (70-44) and Milnsbridge B (63-30) respectively completed the day's programme with the quarter-finals lined up for Monday 23 June with the neutral greens still to be announced.
