Two final qualifiers for World Club Championship

The final Qualifying Round of the World Club Championship was staged at Spen Victoria on Sunday and saw the final two qualifiers progress to Finals Day. Meersbrook (South Yorkshire) and Parkfield Labour (North Lancs & Fylde) being the two winners who will now both face Yorkshire teams in the Semi-Finals next Sunday (11am start) at the same venue.

Paul Dudley returned to Yorkshire after his Weston Park success on Saturday but he was one of the five losers in his Hollinhurst team as they were eliminated in Round 2 along with Willenhall Nordley despite having 5 winners in their tie with Parkfield Labour.
