Winter League
Preview of the fixtures in Divisions 4 and 10 for Monday 10 November

We have a top two clash in Division 4 as the homesters from Primrose Hill Lib take on second-placed Huddersfield Recreation Club A with just 3 points between them. There is a big chance for Netherton Con A and Elland WMC to move into contention as they play the bottom two teams and will be looking to pass the loser of the top-of-the-table clash.
Milnsbridge B and Brockholes A go head-to-head with both teams on 14 points and the danger bells with begin ringing in the direction of the loser of that encounter.

It is top versus bottom as the Division 10 leaders, Hemplow B, go up against the bottom-of-the-table Outlane B who have suffered two 0-8 reversals so far, so will not relish facing the inform Hemplow team. The four top teams in the table play the bottom four teams, so one would expect the results to be fairly obvious but this is Winter bowling and things are not always that predictable.
Skel Windmill are in that top four but their points total is a little misleading. They are the only top four team to play two of their top four opponents. Both resulted in 4-4 draws so they are definitely up there with the top boys but the points total doesn't reflect that status yet. However they have yet to prove that they can overcome some of the lower positioned teams and that first opening comes this week when they play Lindley Lib E.
Thongsbridge and Rastrick will expect to solidify their elevated positions with big wins and anything less will only provide openings for their rivals. Its tight but so are things at the wrong end of the table. It may be that the bottom half teams will be scambling around in search of the odd point or two which could make all the difference to their standing come Monday evening.
