Clayton West hang on to third place in the Division 1 table despite losing 4-5 at Golcar Lib A with Cowcliffe edged their home match versus Kirkheaton Con A 5-4 to stay 4th. There were straightforward home wins for the top two teams as Lowerhouses beat Lockwood Con A 7-2 and Longwood beat Marsh United A 8-1.

Waterloo won the meeting of the bottom two teams beating Meltham A by 6-3 to narrow the gap between them to 14 points a result that did little for either of the team's survival chances. Lindley Lib A lost the aggregate to lose their match at home to Rastrick by 4-5 but those four points shifted them a little further away from the bottom two.

There were three 8-1 scorelines in the Division 2 programme none of which involved the two runaway leaders. The two Elland teams both faced away matches on Tuesday and both won them but the Elland C&BC team were pushed all the way by lowly New Mill A before inching the win 5-4 with a 125-125 drawn aggregate score. Elland WMC won on their trip to play Lindley BC A with a 6-3 score to move another point ahead of their local rivals.

The first of the 8-1 wins went to struggling Denby Dale as they hit third-placed Broad Oak A who are third-placed no longer. That result lifted the Denby Dale team up two places and out of the relegation places. Netherton Con A were on the wrong end of an 8-1 win for Shepley who go third as a result. Those outcomes showed that Denby Dale and Netherton Con A swap 9th and 11th places in the table leaving the Netherton team back in the second relegation place.

The third 8-1 outcome involved two mid-table teams as Milnsbridge A walloped Almondbury BC A to swap 5th and 6th places. Golcar Lib B lost 2-7 at Thongsbridge A recording a first win in five to leave the bottom team 12 points from safety and showing few signs of being able to address that situation when suffering a 7th consecutive defeat.
