Top 4 play Bottom 4 in Division 6

Winter League

A preview of the Divisions 5 & 6 fixtures scheduled to be played on Thursday 16 November

The bottom four teams in Division 5 play each other this Thursday including Jackson Bridge taking on Almondbury BC B as two teams who clocked up their first wins of the season last week. That leaves bottom team Netherton Con B searching for their first win of the season when taking on Mirfield A.

It was a bad week for the top half of the table teams last week as none of them won their matches so all will be looking to catch up on such matters as they turn out this Thursday. The leaders, Outlane, play Springwood C and will be well aware of the threat looming from Slaithwaite who are four points off the top with a match in hand. They take on Huddersfield Recreation Club B who are aiming to halt their record of being relegated each of the previous three seasons they have played in the League to date.

In Division 6 the top four teams play the bottom four teams with the leaders Linthwaite Hall facing sixth-placed Cowcliffe B. The Linthwaite Hall side remains unbeaten and on a run of four straight wins so will be confident of the outcome against a team that has already been beaten by the other three teams in the top half of the table. Lockwood Con B seem to be improving all the time and have won their last three fixtures and this Thursday take on bottom of the pile Mirfield B.

Kirkheaton Con B are one place off the bottom of the table because of a better Aggregate For total and will be hoping to add more to that sum when they meet the host team from Huddersfield RUFC. New Mill C are well placed after a run of four successive wins and they face Broad Oak who collected their first win of the season last week.
