The top three teams in Division 1 all recorded 8-1 home wins in Tuesday's fixture programme which means no change in positions or gaps. All three played bottom-half of the table opponents with Meltham A most affected by that result as it left them 9 points adrift of safety. Lindley Lib A missed an opening to make that gap even bigger when they struggled at home to Clayton West who walked away with a 7-2 win.

There was another 8-1 scoreline with Golcar Lib winning away at Marsh United A who are grateful for the 11-point cushion they have accumulated to keep out of the range of the relegation-threatened teams for now. Kirkheaton Con A recorded a third consecutive win this time away at Waterloo by 6-3.

Elland WMC continue to inch away from their neighbours at the top of the Division 2 table. A 6-3 away win at Shepley (with a 114-113 aggregate difference) being the latest team on the end of the two Elland teams' dominance of the promotion race. Two points separate the two Elland teams, which is one more than the difference in their Aggregate For totals. The Shepley defeat enabled Broad Oak A to move into third place after a 5-4 away win at New Mill A where the one-point aggregate difference (120-119) proved key.

Netherton Con A had a most commendable 6-3 away win at Thongsbridge A where the aggregate bonus points were crucial again after a 128-127 outcome. Golcar Lib B remain stranded at the foot of the table after a 3-6 home defeat to Milnsbridge A and Almondbury BC A are getting sucked back into the nether regions after a 4-5 away defeat at Lindley BC A.
