Memories
The final league tables for the 1986 Mirfield League show one of must surely be, the most incredible finishes to a Championship in bowling history. The title had to be decided on the highest points aggregate after both the top two teams had finished locked together on 131 points from their 18 games. The title going to Mirfield Old Bank by one point thanks to a season-long aggregate of 3,312 compared to the Morton House total of 3,311. Remarkable.
