Winter League
The sun shone for the first hour before giving way to a cloudy and cold but dry afternoon where the temperatures just staggered above freezing but not enough to thaw out a bumpy and noisey Springwood green. But such is the challenge of winter bowling that the bowlers just got on with it, tackled their opponents as well as the variable green with some shaded areas being harder than others and the frequent visits of jacks in the gutter only added to the charisma of the day. We have 27 photographs of action from the green below with some new team photos to be added to the site shortly.
Lost Property Office: Someone left a pair of leather gloves in the Springwood clubhouse on Wednesday. They are safely stored and ready for collection next Wednesday or by arrangement earlier than that. You don't want to be without your gloves this weather!
