Last year's Final of the Sub-Team KO was an all-Kirkheaton affair with Kirkheaton Con B beating Kirkheaton C&BC B by 156-144. That was after the C&BC team beat their own A team in the semi-final. Those same three Kirkheaton teams are in the bottom three ties in the Round of the Last 32 to be played on Tuesday. That means that there is a fair chance of another all-Kirkheaton clash at a later stage but David Brown Sports, Lockwood Con B and Marsh Lib B will all have a different view on the likelihood of that happening at all.

The Sub-Team Knock-Out is for the teams that were excluded from the Team KO as they didn't finish the previous season in the top 32 positions in the League. The competition is of the same format as the League matches with 4 singles and 3 pair games played with the greater 'Aggregate For' total determining the winners. Only in the event of a drawn aggregate scoreline does the number of games won come into play to determine which team progresses through to the next round.
