There are four teams in the Sub-Team KO playing off scratch and two of those teams, Thorpe Green and Lockwood Con B, have Round 1 byes in this Thursday's opening round of fixtures. That leaves Marsh Lib A and Paddock I&C as the top two rated teams playing on Thursday and they take on Ravensknowle Park (+9 handicap) and Huddersfield RUBC (+9) who are top of the Division 4 table at present with an unbeaten 3-match record.

The Sub-Team KO playing format is the same as the weekly League matches with 4 Singles and 3 Pairs games with the only difference being that the aggregate score will determine the winners and the game score only comes into play in the event of the aggregate scores being level.

The biggest handicap difference in any Round of the Last 32 is +22 and that occurs in two of the ties. Thongsbridge B (+5) versus Greenhead Park (+27) ans then Kirkheaton C&BC A (+5) versus Holmfirth B (+27). There is only one tie where handicaps are not going to play a part as the B teams from New Mill and Hemplow are on the same +23 mark.
