Sub-Team KO Round of the Last 16

The team knock-out competition for teams outside the top 32 teams in the 10-Man League has reached the Round of the Last 16 this coming Thursday. The Sub-Team KO draw includes the one meeting of the two surviving Division 3 teams who are the only scratch teams left in the competition as Marsh Lib A and Paddock I&C meet at Kirkheaton C&BC. The teams met on the opening day of the season for a league match when a 125-124 aggregate total (which is the only one that counts in the Sub-Team KO) saw Paddock complete a 6-3 away win over Thursday's opponents.

Division 5 leaders Kirkheaton Con B will fancy their chances of beating Thongsbridge B as their 18 points handicap advantage could be key in determining the outcome. David Brown Sports are the only team to beat Division 4 leaders, Skel Windmill, this season when pushing them out of this competition in the last round. Having already beaten their next opponents, Meltham B by 9-0 in the league they will fancy their chances of progressing further especially with both teams on the same +14 handicap mark.
