Winter League
Now for something entirely different - a 94-second video about a Winter League matchday at Springwood. Winter League bowler Robert Tracey has put together a short video of last Wednesday at Springwood to capture some aspects of a normal day at the green.
'Nowt for Short Films' presents an edited and enhanced film and still photos to present the first-ever venture into films for the Winter League. We would love to hear your comments on the film. This short film introduces Robert's skills of imagination and technical ability in pulling all this together from his mobile phone. Yes it is all done on a mobile phone with background music. In the film Robert has included a sequence by standing behind Eddie Haigh and Nigel Kaine playing a singles match as they send their woods away from them and the camera. The photo below is of Robert capturing that particular sequence.
