Lowerhouses racked up a 9-0 home win over Clayton West to reduce the gap to the Division 1 leaders to 2-points. That whitewash win included a 21-0 win for Andy Mitchell and that means that the Longwood teams's gap at the top is reduced to 2-points after their 7-2 home win over Golcar Lib A.
Rastrick go third after beating Meltham 7-2 and Cowcliffe made it four straight wins when beating Lockwood Con A on their own green by 7-2. Waterloo clocked up their first win of the season when beating Lindley Lib A on their own green by 6-3 but stay rooted to the bottom of the table.

A first defeat of the season for Elland C&BC when going down 3-6 away at Golcar Lib B was a surprise outcome against a team in the Division 2 relegation places. Their lead at the top of the table is still a healthy 12-points although the table may not reflect the true position as Elland WMC still have two match results missing following the Bowslnet Computer Disaster.
Division 2 Missing Results
27 May Elland WMC v Almondbury BC A
3 June Milnsbridge A v Elland WMC
Thongsbridge A are emerging as a strong rival after a 7-2 home win over Milnsbridge A put them clear in 2nd place although the two outstanding fixtures for Elland WMC could change that picture instantly. Lindley BC A (7-2 home winners over Denby Dale) remain in touch but a 4-5 home defeat for Shepley A by bottom-of-the-table Almondbury BC A damaged their chances. The bottom three teams all won their Tuesday matches this week which now indicates that the bottom four teams are only separated by 2-points as things start to build up.
