As April moves nearer, the local leagues confirm their starting dates and the fixtures appear on their Bowlsnet pages. Below is a quick guide to all the information to hand at this time, including any new teams and teams lost to the respective leagues with quick links to each of the leagues' Bowlsnet pages.

Huddersfield League Although the Bowlsnet home page says that the Huddersfield Saturday League fixtures are now online, they aren't. It may be that they have been taken down to add all the outstanding neutral green allocations. Check for yourself. Huddersfield League Bowlsnet

Huddersfield Veterans League The 6-Man League opens its full fixture programme on Monday 13 April although there is one Division 4 fixture on Tuesday 7 April. The 10-Man Leagues fixtures have been online for several weeks now with a starting date of Tuesday 14 April. The 6-Man League has a net gain of three new teams taking the total up to a best ever 48 teams. The 10-Man League has 60 teams for a fourth consecutive season. Mirfield League

All seven divisions begin their seasons on Tuesday 14 April with team numbers down one in total to 66. Pudsey C withdrawing from the League after finishing bottom of Division 4 last year. Mirfield League Bowlsnet pages

Colne Valley League

Start date of Wednesday 22 April for both divisions. Team numbers are down from 16 to 15 this season with Cowcliffe Lib dropping out of the League. All the details are on the Colne Valley Bowlsnet pages.

Liberal League

Two teams have been lost to the League this season with the Division 1 Champions, Kirkheaton Con A, and Almondbury Lib A also from Division 1 moving to the Elland League Division 2 for the 2026 season. That takes total numbers down from 19 to 17. The season starts for the 9-Division 1 teams on Easter Monday (13 April) whilst the 8-team Division 2 fixture programme starts two weeks later on Monday 27 April. Liberal League Bowlsnet pages

Works League

An increase in team numbers from 36 to 37 for the Works League with a number of team name changes. There are games in all four divisions starting on Thursday 16 April. Click here to go direct to the Works League Bowlsnet pages

Dearne & Don League

Ladies League

No change in team numbers in the Huddersfield Ladies League with 50 teams again starting the season which opens the week commencing Easter Monday with matches on three evenings that week as the season builds up to a full programme by the end of that opening week. Ladies League Bowlsnet pages

Ladies Works League Team numbers in the Ladies Works League have dropped from 14 to 13 with the loss of Holmes Dresser from this year's competition. Division 1 fixtures begin on Monday 27 April with Division 2 cranking up on Monday 11 May. Ladies Works League Bowlsnet pages
