Bowling News
Some help is at hand to help bowling clubs cut costs over a range of products and services and the first stage is all free of charge. The Bowling Club Group offers a free review of your expenditure, identifying areas where cost savings can be made. This is a new service recently targeting bowling clubs nationwide.
This is not an endorsement of The Bowling Club Group and I don't know of any club that has taken up this free offer and obviously they will be making money from this process at some stage of this costing cycle. But if it really does save clubs money, then it may be of interest to local clubs.
There is a list further down of a number of clubs that have used the service with claims that they have made cost savings on Gas, Electricity and Water contracts of over £9,000 over a three-year contract to one club. All the clubs listed seem to be in Scotland but it appears that they are spreading their services further afield now.
They claim to have 12 years experience in providing a range of similar services to golf clubs and are now diverting into crown green and flat green bowling clubs.
If any local club has used this organisation or knows of a club that has used them, then it would be really helpful to all clubs to learn of their experiences. Read the online advertising literature below that is now available.
Bowling Club Group Launches FOC Pricing Review To Help Clubs Unlock Significant Cost Savings
Hi Everyone, the Bowling Club Group the only procurement support specialists to Bowling Clubs across the U.K with now over 150 Clubs already saving money on their supplier services, have announced the launch of a Free of Charge, no-obligation pricing review aimed at helping Clubs combat rising operational costs and improve financial efficiency. With Bowling Clubs facing increasing pressure from inflation the challenge of keeping overheads under control has never been greater.
The new Free of Charge pricing review initiative offers Clubs a comprehensive analysis of their current expenditure across key cost categories, including Utilities, Waste Management, Insurance, Washroom Services, Telecoms & Broadband, Card Terminals and more. By benchmarking Clubs spend against the exclusive buying group rates available through the Bowling Club Group network of suppliers, the review identifies where meaningful savings can be made. “Our goal is to help Clubs operate more efficiently so they can reinvest back into their facilities and ultimately their customers,”
The process is straightforward – Clubs simply share their existing invoices, after which the Bowling Club Group team conducts a line-by-line comparison and produces a clear, easy-to-understand report. The review highlights areas of potential cost reduction, supplier alternatives, and opportunities for long-term value improvements.
The Bowling Club Group have a track record of delivering measurable savings for Clubs of all sizes, helping them take control of their purchasing while benefiting from our expertise in transitioning to new suppliers. Bowling Clubs interested in taking advantage of the Free of Charge review can take a look through our Supplier E-brochure on our Facebook page to see areas where savings can be made then send your current invoices to ian@bowlingclubgroup.co.uk to start the ball rolling.
